In summer 2011 we have been able to open our Agritourism Alpes d'OC Green, in the house named after Garibaldi.

Alpes d'OC Green is situated next to Alpes d'Oc Morinesio whith which it forms a unique ambiance,achieved through the reconstruction in respect of the local endemism.As a result the capacity and quality of embracing tourists in Morinesio has changed significantly.We offer our guests top standard and comfortable accomodations,be it our holiday flats or our private rental rooms,each equipped with private bathroom and private balconies.We run our own little restaurant which offers simple meals,that are healthy and authentic and mirror the traditional kitchen of the Piemont.Only the best wines of the nearby area of the 'Langhe' accomplish our meals.

The Garibaldi -House is a construction that was errected during the course of the 18 ^th century in the stile of the Occitane/Provence architecture of the Maira Valley.Reconstruction of the house took two years and many hurdles were to take in its course.

The Garibaldi-House today shows off in all its beauty and functionality and scores with its modesty rooted in the traditional local architecture.

The Garibaldi-House is named after a former owner,follower of Garibaldi, who during the Risorgimento took part in the expedition of 'the Thousand' led by Giuseppe Garibaldi,a march with the goal to found Italy. In 1862, he was imprisoned together with another 400 followers of Garibaldi at the Fortress of Vinadio (built by Carlo Alberto of Savoia to guard the French border). He managed to escape from prison and found shelter in the nearby Maira Valley where he settled down in the present Garibaldi-House.
