We are located in Morinesio-Community of Stroppo (Cuneo) at appr.1.500 m altitude at the foot of the mountain 'Nebin'.We enjoy sunny sud exposition,experience the amazing panoramic view from your balcony of the Cottian Alps!
Morinesio is a little housing settlement which consists of traditional houses out of stone and wood,which were built in the course of the 18 th century.Within the settlement you find natural paths only.

represent the typical and authentical constructions of the alpine architecture of the Occitane/Provence which were built during the course of the 18th century.Recently restored in full respect of local endemism through an exclusive use of natural materials (stone and wood) as well as eco-compatible ones (paintings in water/oil; acoustical and thermal isolation made out of wood- derivates.

offers you independent and autonomous holiday flats which vary from 60,50 to 30 sqm2 of living space and are fully equipped with private bathroom,combined kitchen/living room,bedroom,private balcony with panaromic view,S/E positioned.
Additional we offer you independent rooms for rent with private bathroom and private balcony,S positioned.
Further there is an utility room for all guests,a private green area with BBQ,mountainbikes and bicycles rental,areas for volleyball,boccia and parlour games.
ALPES d’OC Morinesio
in the past, it was the Caso dal Pentour, or the Pentour House.
Given the date of its construction – 18th century – it isn’t clear if the Occitan/Provençal expression Caso dal Pentour referred to the former owner, a shepherd, or to the manufacture of combs and brushes for human and animal hair.
The local history, passed down only orally, has not allowed us to resolve the question.
The Caso dal Pentour was certainly the typical “main” house of Morinesio architecture. Pentour was undoubtedly a capable artisan using stone for building, and he was a fine student of architectural forms.
Proof is the formidable stone archway, built on the upper side of the house, which allowed him to access the ancient hay barn with the large wooden sled (a lieio) used to haul hay; this hay barn is now the “Panorama” apartment.
The archway, a rare example of harmony and basic stone construction, towers over the path beneath it. As an original and effective grounding of its base to the body of the house, it allowed Pentour to protect the entrance to his home, now the “Annalisa” apartment.>
ALPES d’OC Morinesio and ALPES d'OC Green
represent harmony and tastes of the Occitane and Provencal Mountains, or, in other words the environment’s genuinity, the territory’s integrity as well as the local culture and traditions’ originality. Here, the nature is the principal factor; the culture (architecture, language, art) is an excellent element which witnesses us the local Alpine civilisation.
